Wolf’s Ridge XII is thrilled to support Kaleidoscope Youth Center with our Prideraiser (and with everything else).

Founded in 1994, Kaleidoscope Youth Center (KYC) is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, and “is Ohio's largest and longest-serving organization in Ohio solely dedicated to supporting LGBTQIA+ youth ages 12 - 24.  Services include a Drop-in Center, community education and training, advocacy and civic engagement, health and wellness programs, and housing opportunities."

The mission of Kaleidoscope is “to work in partnership with young people in Central Ohio to create safe and empowering environments for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, and ally youth through advocacy, education, support, and community engagement.”

Kaleidoscope Youth Center has been advocating for policies benefitting LGBTQIA+ youth since 1994, and have developed programs that offer “self-esteem, health and wellness programs, and assistance with Genders and Sexualities Alliances in Columbus City Schools and Franklin County schools (along with those in contiguous counties)."

Why Kaleidoscope?

Every child needs a place where they feel welcome, and Kaleidoscope provides that place for a number of youth in Central Ohio. The center understood since the beginning that the Central Ohio LGBTQIA+ youth and their allies needed a place to meet and socialize – eventually having the opportunity to develop the wellness programs that are providing so many beneficial learning opportunities for these kids. The entire way, Kaleidoscope has provided their life changing services with pride and purpose. We welcome you to join us in pledging to support this valuable piece of our community!
