Stand up and cheer with pride! For the 2021 season, the Uproar is raising money to benefit the LGBTQ Center of Durham with our Prideraiser campaign.
Join us by pledging a dollar amount per NC Courage goal during the month of June. At the end of the month, we will contact you with information with your total pledged as well as instructions on how to make your donations.
While plenty of forward movements have been made, there is still a ways to go for full equality (especially when you get into the intersections of it). Because of that, it remains vital to support your local organizations leading the charge.
The LGBTQ Center of Durham is committed to improving the quality of life for LGBTQ+ people in and around Durham through programming, resources, and networks of support, by acting as a hub for Durham’s LGBTQ+ community, by sharing and affirming all LGBTQ+ lived experiences, and by educating our neighbors in order to enhance understanding of and sensitivity to LGBTQ+ issue.
The Uproar is the Supporters Group for the NC Courage. Our goal is to ignite energy and enthusiasm in and outside of Sahlen Stadium for our club, the back-to-back NWSL champions and 3x shield winners. We create a collective voice for the fans to ensure an inclusive soccer community.
