LGBT Network operates Q Center as well as the Queens Pride Parade. The mission of Q Center is to celebrate and take pride in LGBT identities, care for individuals and groups in need, educate the public about those individuals and groups, address health disparities, build community and empower all. The New Queens Pride Parade and Multicultural Festival is the second oldest and second largest pride parade in New York City. Found in 1993, it is held annually on the first Sunday in June, in the neighborhood of Jackson Heights on 37th Avenue.
