The Swanguardians, from Day One, have been all about being inclusive and supporting the beautiful game, regardless of gender expression, ethnicity or anything else that could differentiate ourselves.  As a smaller supporters group, we're looking for ways to expand our reach, and a few of our members, have looked at the Prideraiser campaign and wanted to partake, however, the constituency within their previous supporters groups was not there to support such a movement.  Upon a quick poll with our members, we decided to choose Rainbow Refugee as our charity of choice.

Rainbow Refugee promotes the safe transportation and building communities of people fleeing persecution due to sexual orientation, gender identity and expression and HIV.  Further more, the following are some of the organization's core values:Social JusticeAnti-oppressionHuman Rights of LGBTQI peopleRespectEmpathy & Compassion

Each gameday is a doubleheader so we will be counting goals from both games (womens and mens) to maximize our contribution.
