June is a huge month for our U.S. national soccer teams. The USMNT will compete for a trophy in the Nations League Finals and the Gold Cup, while the USMNT U-20s attempt to compete for a World Cup trophy and the USWNT names their roster for the 2023 World Cup. This month, we want to mobilize our #AOFamily to not only support our teams on the field, but our community off the field. The American Outlaws, the largest supporters group for the U.S. national soccer teams, are asking members and fans alike to join us in making a pledge through Prideraiser in support of Common Goal's Play Proud program.

Common Goal, who AO has joined in launching the Anti Racist Project, established the Play Proud program to make communities and stadiums a safer space for the LGBTQ+ community. Play Proud transforms soccer clubs and organizations around the world by equipping coaches and staff with the skills and knowledge to ensure that LGBTQ+ inclusion is championed, on and off the pitch.

Play Proud recognizes that everyone has the ability to provide allyship and support to LGBTQ+ people. The program seeks to equip coaches, staff, and club representatives with the skills and knowledge to be mentors to LGBTQ+ youth, allies in their workplaces, and champions of inclusion in their communities.

This year, AO is pledging to donate for all USMNT and MNT U-20 goals + assists in the month of June plus the MNT U-20s in their Round of 16 match at the U-20 World Cup. The USMNT will have 4 matches in June. Combine that with a potential 4 more for our MNT U-20s, there is a total of 8 possible matches:

May 30 - MNT U-20s vs. New Zealand, U-20 World Cup Round of 16

June 4 - MNT vs. Uruguay, U-20 World Cup Quarterfinals

June 15 - USMNT vs. Mexico - Concacaf Nations League Semifinals

June 18 - USMNT vs. Costa Rica/Canada - Concacaf Nations League Final/3rd Place

June 24 - USMNT vs. Jamaica - Concacaf Gold Cup

June 28 - USMNT vs. TBD - Concacaf Gold Cup

We are asking you to join us in pledging $$/goal (at least $1) to support Common Goal's efforts not just for the Play Proud program, but their global efforts to eliminate homophobia and transphobia from our society.
