Atlanta means Family.Resurgence is Family.
Resurgence is jumping right back into Prideraiser for 2022 to raise money for a newer Atlanta LGBTQ charity, Trans Housing Coalition, to ensure Trans and Gender Non-Conforming people without housing in Atlanta have their specific needs looked after.

We chose to benefit THC as a group, for several reasons, partly for the work they specifically do for Trans/GNC people in Atlanta, to hopefully shine a larger spotlight on their efforts, make sure we're uplifting smaller orgs, and slightly because our Trans board member wouldn't shut up in the group chat about them.
THC is a younger organization, having initially sprang from a GoFundMe started in mid-December 2019 to help a small group of Black Trans women. From that point, it quickly snowballed into a new 501(c) dedicated to "helping Atlanta’s chronically homeless Trans and Gender Non-Conforming people move from the streets into long-term housing and on to the lives they want to lead."

With anti-trans rhetoric, legislation, and hate on a markedly steep rise, there has never been a more important time for Resurgence to step up to the plate for our Trans and GNC family of Atlantans.So, let's buckle down and make some truly amazing, off the wall pledges to bring a sense of stability and relief to Atlanta's Trans community.
