MLS is Back, and so is Prideraiser for a special event!

Since 2017, Prideraiser.org has helped local supporters groups turn soccer goals into critical funds raised for worthy organizations that benefit the LGBTQ+ community in each city. With the abhorrent recent order by Texas Governor Greg Abbott targeting trans kids in the Lonestar State, our volunteer organizers are conducting a special Prideraiser campaign to coincide with MLS opening weekend. 100% of donations from this special fundraising campaign will benefit the critical work done by the Transgender Education Network of Texas (TENT).

"TENT works to halt discrimination through social, legislative, and corporate education. TENT also works to train allies and partners to support and affirm the transgender and gender nonconforming people in Texas."

We are asking soccer fans to record a pledge to donate to TENT based on every goal scored during the "MLS is Back" weekend, consisting of fourteen matches on February 26 and 27. For example, 35 goals were scored during the same period in 2021 and 2020, so a $1/goal pledge would be a $35 donation.

Instructions on how to donate directly to TENT via Prideraiser will be sent out on Monday.
