The Northern Guard Supporters, independent supporters of Detroit City FC, are thrilled to be back for Prideraiser 2021 in support of Ruth Ellis Center!

Founded in 1999, the Ruth Ellis Center works with LGBTQ youth. Nationwide, LGBTQ youth have a 120% higher risk of homelessnessthan their peers. To address that, Ruth Ellis Center has four facilities in Detroit and Highland Park that provide drop-in centers, health & wellness center providing integrated primary and behavioral healthcare services, and coming in 2022, a permanent housing facility with integrated services.

This year we are teaming up with Ally to help take our Prideraiser campaign to a whole new level! Ally, longtime friends of Ruth Ellis Center, have signed on as sponsors of Detroit City FC, and in conjunction with the club, are helping spread the word and provide additional resources to further Ruth Ellis Center's mission!

For 2021, we are pledging against all home goals scored by the DCFC men's and women's first teams. That's five matches, and five opportunities to help support this critical work to support our LGBTQ neighbors.

We’re asking you to join us in pledging some cash $$/goal to support this critical LGBTQ resource in our community. Since 2017, y’all have contributed over $43,000 to Ruth Ellis Center, and we're excited to take our NGS Prideraiser to another level with Ally along with us this summer.
