We welcome you to help Mosaic 1781 raise money for Compton G.IRLS Club during the 2022 NWSL Challenge Cup!

Compton G.IRLS Club is a client-centered girl/ femme/ and non binary empowerment 501(c)3 nonprofit based in Compton, California.  Through workshops, meetings, and field trips they aim to make knowledge, skills and resources accessible to youth in underestimated communities. It is also their intention to connect participants with resources and speakers from within their own communities. By doing this, they foster pride in self and within their own community.

Compton G.IRLS Clubwas founded in 2017 as an after school club based in Compton High School’s Library. They started with 12 girls and volunteers from within their own community. They have created a safe space for girls to learn something new without judgement.

Their mission is to provide girls from underserved communities access to resources, knowledge and skills that are not readily accessible to them in their own neighborhoods. They believe access to these skills will aid them in their journeys to becoming confident, assertive, and independent

Their vision is a community of girls enlightened and empowered to become the best version of themselves. They envision girls so emboldened with knowledge and resources that they plant that seed into their neighborhoods and the next generation.
