Footie Mob, Supporter Group for Atlanta United FC, is proud to be raising donations for Southern Fried Queer Pride!

For our campaign, we are asking for you to pledge $5 for every goal scored by Atlanta United for the month of June. At the end of the month, you will be contacted on how to send your donations.

Southern Fried Queer Pride (SFQP) is an Atlanta-based organization that supports Black queer and QTPOC communities in the South through the arts. SFQP emerged to address the lack of spaces for Black and brown queer individuals to connect, express themselves artistically, and challenge the negative narratives often associated with Southern queers. The organization strives to highlight the resilience, rich history, and vibrancy of these communities.

SFQP envisions a world where Black and QTPOC artists and leaders in the South are empowered, employed, and self-sufficient. Recognizing that Black and brown queer individuals are often cultural pioneers yet lack necessary resources, SFQP aims to provide them with the support needed to thrive. Their mission focuses on offering access to social, human, and financial capital to those systematically denied these resources. They curate immersive and user-centered programming and foster robust leadership among emerging artists and leaders in the South. SFQP's efforts are directed towards creating an environment that sustains and uplifts these communities.
