About Trans Closet of the Hudson Valley

The Trans Closet was founded to combat clothing and economic insecurity in the Hudson Valley’s transgender community; to help reduce people’s dysphoria and support their self-expression; to facilitate the sharing of social, emotional, and creative support within the LGBTQ+ community; to redistribute a wide variety of resources to the community; and to develop a platform to signal boost community bulletins and the work of other justice organizations..

Creating and sustaining trans joy through self-expression is the core of their mission—and through our expanding programming, networks, and events, we’ve been able to experience that joy with our community.

Trans Closet is based at the Dutchess County Pride Center in East Fishkill, NY but can be found at events and pop-ups throughout the Hudson Valley

How Prideraiser Works

1. You make your pledge

2. Stockade scores some goals (cause that's what winners do!)

3. At the end of Pride Month, Prideraiser sends you an email with the amount to donate
