Chicago Local 134 is proud to collaborate on this year’s Chicago Red Stars Prideraiser, supporting Brave Space Alliance:

“Brave Space Alliance is the first Black-led, trans-led LGBTQ Center located on the South Side of Chicago, and designed to create and provide affirming and culturally competent services for the entire LGBTQ community of Chicago. We aim to generate opportunities for ourselves, our families, our comrades, and our futures to engage in healing, community building, and the creation of kinship. We strive to educate, empower, and embolden each other through sharing skills, knowledge, and resources as we build towards the liberation of all oppressed peoples.”

BSA’s services include job services, four support groups, mental health services in partnership with Howard Brown, financial services, vogue nights and organizing for queer and trans folks in Chicago and beyond.

Our Red Stars play three big matches in the month of June, which is an opportunity to raise some serious dollars for an amazing organization supporting queer and trans Chicagoans. We hope you will consider making even a pledge of a couple dollars per goal here. Every contribution is greatly appreciated!

and Hamburger Mary’s to the match on 6/23 against Reign FC, and a delicious
