The River Rats Supporters group of the Flint City Bucks and AFC are raising funds for Flint Pride and Wellness Services of Flint Michigan. Pledge is $1 per goal scored at home games starting May 26th, 2023 and any home game in the month of June. Pledges will go directly to Flint Pride. Flint Pride Society is responsible for planning the Flint Gay Pride annual festival. This festival brings together and celebrates the diversity that is Flint Michigan and highlights the LGBTQIA+ community. There are lots of entertainers and activities including a 5K race.

Wellness Aids Services is located in Downtown Flint. It's a safe space where individuals and couples can get tested for HIV/STIs and get free condoms and lube. Members of the LGBTQIA+ community can drop-in and hang out, attend educational workshops, help plan and attend events, use a computer or watch some television. They employ a harm reduction model to everyday practices and believe in advocating for marginalized populations across a myriad of social justice issues. Wellness Services treats everyone with dignity and respect. They are here to be a safe space where anybody can be themselves without concerns.
